Siena Awards have just announced the winners of the international awards dedicated to aerial photography – Drone Awards 2020. The overall winner was Jim Picôt with an absolutely outstanding shot of a salmon school in Australia. Jim Picôt managed to photograph the salmon forming the shape of a heart, with a shark swimming inside it (Feature Image).
The Drone Photo Awards competition is part of the 6th edition of the Siena Awards Festival. This year the festival will be from October 24th to November 29th in Siena, Italy.
During the Siena Awards Festival, the 45 awarded photos from the competition are to be showcased in an exhibition called “Above Us Only Sky”. The exhibition at the “Accademia dei Fisiocritici” in Siena, represents the only group exhibition held in Italy on aerial photography.

A spectacular crater row in Iceland’s vast interior. The red colour is due to oxidation of the minerals in the basaltic layer around the volcano.
Photographed at Inle Lake, which is in the Shan Hills of Myanmar (Burma).
It is extraordinarily interesting to see the architectural designs of the buildings, the streets, and the pier of Dubai Marina that contrast with the ocean water.
